Lulu – culinary stage at the Opera House

“Art is everywhere” is the motto here at Lulu – a place where you can indulge in art with all your senses. With our fabulous French-Mediterranean cuisine. On the incredibly spacious terrace. Tucked away in one of the elegant niches inside the restaurant. At the classic zinc bar. With a great deal of piano music and singing. Complete with an art gallery featuring young and young-at-heart artists. Many of the gallery’s pieces are even available for sale. Incidentally, Lulu is called “Lulu” because composer Alban Berg premiered an opera by the same name at the Zurich Opera House in 1937. It’s full of drama, scandal, passion and life. And speaking of which: we are passionate about providing exceptional gourmet experiences that guests can savour with all their senses. In addition to the restaurant, we also run the café on the ground floor and are responsible for the food served in the Bernhard Theatre, where we provide snacks, heartier dishes and sweet temptations before and during the performances. And if you treat yourself to a ballet or opera performance, you can also count on us to be there providing snacks and drinks during intermission.
